The Practice

The practice is based across 2 sites the main surgery is based at Manor Road, Wallington and the branch surgery which is located within the Roundshaw Health Centre, Wallington. Manor Practice was initially set up at Manor Road by Dr Ko and Dr Amjad in 1997. The practice list size across both sites currently stands at approximately 7,800 patients. We are a fully computerised Emis LV practice. We are a friendly and innovative practice who is committed to the education of medical students and the practice currently participates in the teaching of undergraduates from St George’s Hospital Medical School. The practice boasts an excellent and comprehensive reference library consisting of approximately 400 books of clinical and non clinical material all of which are available for reference by trainees. The practice is part of the Sutton Horizon PBC Consortium of which Dr Amjad is one of the board members which enables the practice to be actively involved in the commissioning of services within the community. Part of Dr Amjad’s remit is also that of a GP appraiser.

Weekly meetings are held by clinical staff and the whole practice team meets on a regular basis. The practice offers extended hour clinics to it’s patients consisting of 1 late evening a week and also a Saturday morning. We have locally based District Nurses and Health Visitors which are attached to the practice. We offer a full range of services such as Antenatal, Postnatal, Family Planning, Child Health Surveillance Minor Surgery Clinics, Travel Clinics and various chronic disease management clinics.

We are a high QOF achieving practice and maintain high targets for cytology and Child Immunisation .
